This is sort of thing we’re up against, as scientists. Day in, day out, the newspapers portray us as devils one day, and gods the next. Public opinion of science is hurt whenever it is misrepresented in the media; i.e. every day.
This blog represents my vain hope that maybe one day, science journalism will improve. And presumably that will be the day scientists are decried for playing God after creating flying pigs.
